fighting my lurker tendancies

it seems the longer i wait between posting the more like a jackass i feel like i am. i think one of the issues is the fact that i have been a compulsive lurker in fandom for about 5 years now. i have had this lj (which seems a bit weird to type considering i am using my dreamwidth account to post) a little over three years and have only made 111 entries. i not only fail at posting, i consistently fail at posting.

this absence has a few reasons behind it. i've been beyond busy at work, as our tech person left three weeks ago and the new woman doesn't start for a week. i work for such a small company (currently three people other than me) that when someone isn't there everyone suffers. this has lead to me being drafted into doing things i am just generally not qualified for, which sucks all around, as i do not like feeling incompetent.

but more than that, i just haven't been feeling super fannish lately. maybe when the fall shows are back i will regain some interest, but lately i have failed even at keeping up with my summer shows.

but i am feeling in the mood for doing some photoshopping, and am in need of some new projects. does anyone need a new header, icons or banners? give me a link to caps or other pics and i will make some. or just tell me which show i should be iconning.
