people, i start a new job tomorrow and i am psyching myself out about it to the point of full blown panic attacks.


1. walked the dog
2. ran on the treadmill for an hour
3. made ten new icons
4. started and stopped watching episodes of: arrested development, the wire, merlin and supernatural. (my attention span, not so great at this particular moment.)
5. read the newspaper
6. come up with an alternate plan to employment. (it involves winning the lottery and buying a house on the maine coast.
8. done the crossword


i was able to accomplish all this by waking up around 4:30 a.m. (after going to sleep around 1:30 a.m.) the thing is, i am running out of distractions.

things i need: encouragement that i will be fine at my new job, and that my coworkers won't hate me. distractions

therefore i am inaugurating a meme:

You don't have to give me anything. :) Though a Sarah Jane Adventures/Sports Night crossover drabble might be sort of cool.

I'm supposed to be at work in two hours and am trying to figure out what to do until then as well. Usually I don't have a problem, but I'm doing short attention span theatre at the moment too.

i have been considering the possibility of a sn/sja crossover and have come up with a scenario. unfortunately, it doesn't want to stay commentfic sized, so it has been added to my w.i.p file.
