kristinok ok, people, you are all watching southland, right? and if you aren't please let me know, and i will rebut your reasons. because people should be watching it and talking about it.
you want kickass characters of color?
you want a cannonically gay police officer who is actually one of the stars?
you want acknowledgment of race, class and gender issues as a matter of fact, rather than it being a 'very special episode'?
and, this being fandom: do you want gorgeous eye candy, male and female?
yeah, you do. all eps are currently streaming on hulu. (the fifth episode airs tonight on nbc, 10 pm EST)
